About Noah Homes

In 1983 a band of parents, and a generous philanthropic benefactor named Walter Fitch III answered a call from God to find an oasis for their special charges: children and family members with developmental disabilities. With the help of many dedicated people who shared in the vision of a community setting, an environment of loving support, appropriate independence and best quality of life, they set about creating the framework of this special community. Noah Homes opened July 7th 1983 with one house and 6 residents in the quiet hills of Spring Valley, California.

Thirty-six years later, Noah Homes is flourishing as best -in-class model the first and only Catholic Community Homes for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in San Diego County.
