Juliana Ferrantelli Guidi
BOARD MEMBER
Juliana’s brother, Michael, has been a resident of Noah Homes since 1990, and her sweet daughter, Mary, has lived there since 2023. Her father, Peter Ferrantelli, the Foundation’s first chairman, had a vision for a financially secure and stable future for Noah Homes. After endless hours of meetings, discussions with lawyers, renderings, and dinner table conversations with their family, Noah’s Ark Angel Foundation was founded in 2006. Her sister, Jennifer, also served as a dedicated Board Member and active volunteer at various fundraisers for the community. Joe, Mary’s dad, has also served on the Foundation board and is currently a member of the Noah Homes Board of Directors. As a family, the Ferrantellis have been very involved and vested in Noah Homes. They all want to continue the mission of Noah Homes and Noah’s Ark Angel Foundation. “As we keep God at the center, He will continue to bless the residents, caregivers, staff and those who give of their time, talent, and treasure,” says Juliana.
-
Shannon Guidi
BOARD MEMBER
Shannon’s connection to the Noah Homes community is a deeply personal one, driven by her experiences as a family member of individuals with developmental disabilities. The journey began with her stepdaughter, who lives at Noah Homes and has Down syndrome, which naturally brought her closer to the organization’s mission of providing quality care and community living. Further shaping her understanding and commitment is her stepson from a previous marriage who has Autism, offering her broader insight into the diverse needs and challenges faced by families like theirs. These personal ties fostered a desire to give back to an organization that provides vital support. Shannon has contributed two years of service as a volunteer in the Noah Homes office. Her experience in the office allowed her to see the dedication and hard work that goes into running the community, solidifying her belief in the mission. Ultimately, these combined experiences inspired her to formally join Noah’s Ark Angel Foundation. She is committed to supporting an organization that not only provides a loving home for her stepdaughter but also champions the well-being of all its residents and their families.

Peggy Hadacek
BOARD MEMBER
Peggy is a mother of three children; she has two boys, each married and living outside of California, and a daughter, Holly, who resides at Noah Homes. Peggy lived in Illinois for 25 years before moving to San Diego with her husband. Several years ago, Peggy asked Holly: “Someday, would you like to live by yourself with a caregiver or in a home with several people?” She replied, “With lots of people.” After looking at several options, they knew Noah Homes was the best place for Holly to live. Peggy regards it as a privilege to work with the other Board Members of Noah’s Ark Angel Foundation to ensure Noah Homes continues to operate without financial fear, and to make a positive difference for current and future residents. She wants to see the residents and staff thrive. “I want Noah Homes to be an example of what a good quality of life is for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” says Peggy.

BOARD MEMBER
-
Theresa McKenna
BOARD MEMBER
Theresa has been a long-time East County resident since 1973. A retired Fire Captain, she continues to serve her community on her local Fire Board and has been a small business owner since 2008. Having worked as a first responder in the area serving Noah Homes for over 22 years, she first learned of Noah while responding to a medical emergency involving one of its residents. Incredibly impressed by how knowledgeable and caring the staff were about the individual in need of care, she knew right away that Noah set the bar for I/DD care. In that moment, she knew Noah was the only other place outside her own home she would want her I/DD daughter to be when time came for placement. Theresa has been an active volunteer with Noah for several years by supporting its Enchanted Village and Summerfest events and is also a member of the Noah Society through her monthly donations throughout the years. When Noah’s PERCH program began, she saw that as a perfect opportunity to allow her daughter to build friendships. Theresa joined Noah’s Ark Angel Foundation because of her passion in ensuring the exceptional level of care and service Noah Homes provides now continues into eternity.

After learning about Noah Homes, they couldn’t have been happier to find such a wonderful place for her to live in the future. Clay started volunteering at Noah Homes in 2017 and has put thousands of hours into special projects and events and working on operational duties as appropriate. He is proud to have been a part of the planning and implementation of the Enchanted Village since its inception.
